Say hello to KTM’s new ‘Freeride’, a road-legal, ‘fun’, dirt bike powered by a 350cc single and weighing just 99kg.

It’s been announced in advance of the Milan Show where it will receive its official public unveiling before going on sale next spring.

The powerplant is a detuned version of KTM’s fuel-injected and liquid-cooled 350 single, producing a claimed 24bhp. While an all-new chassis uses a mix of steel tubes and cast aluminium sections to minimize weight. Suspension is KTM’s usual WP front and rear.

KTM says the goal was to: “create an off-road motorcycles that could face the same challenges of EXC, but with considerable savings of effort and energy to the pilot.”

More details as soon as we have them.
