Honda CBR250R gets race kit

After last year's European Junior Cup race series used Kawasaki Ninja 250s, Honda has decided to give their own 250cc commuter a track makeover.

While the standard Honda CBR250R isn't particularly exciting, it looks a lot better in race trim with a Honda TT Legends inspired paintscheme.

Developed for the Japanese CBR250R Cup race series, the mini CBR also gets a new ECU with adjustable maps, quick shifter and pit-lane limiter.

iv been thinking of getn a 250 to go with me 600 hornet after seening this one one i now know wot i want its nice :biggrin:

Money for old rope

This bike is nice to look at but what's the point, like jollyboy said the cost of this bike is crazy when you consider the bike actually is no better off now with all the new tech compared to the old one using a carb.

Total waste of time and money.

It's kind of worrying that the standard CBR produces 26bhp with all it's high tech cleverness. Thirty years ago you could buy a CB250RS with such poxy old fashioned technology as a carb, CDI ignition and air cooling which produced 26bhp. Isn't new technology wonderful? And all for a bargain four grand.

Which of this(Image of Race pack)considder for "RACE"(O,K mappable ECU and quik shifter-LoL)"While the standard Honda CBR250R isn't particularly exciting" this is main isue whit all new HONDA's Bike's, if do not count RR class...all new honda bikes is designed like some one whish to make them ugly and "isn't particularly exciting"
