New KTM 1190 Adventure breaks cover

This official brochure pic of KTM’s all-new 1190 Adventure has leaked out of the factory ahead of its scheduled unveiling at the Cologne Show on October 2.

Apparently, KTM themselves mistakenly posted the brochure page on its own website, where it was quickly picked up by other sites, before taking the image down again.

As expected it confirms the spec and style of the bike MCN revealed on September 5 – although our images then weren’t of the machine in its finished orange livery.

The uprated V-twin engine is based on that of the RC8 superbike and boasts 150bhp, ride-by-wire, switchable engine mapping, traction control and more.

KTM are also claiming an equally impressive wet weight of 235kg while the chassis also boasts adjustable seat and screen and all-new instrumentation.
