Triumph's 2014 newcomers revealed

Triumph is revamping its cruiser line-up for 2014 with two new ‘baggers’, a new Thunderbird variant called the Commander and updates to both the entry-level, Bonneville-based America and Speedmaster.

Plus there’s a special edition version of the Tiger 800 XC.

The star of the cruiser line-up is the Thunderbird LT (which stands for ‘Light Touring’). a ‘bagger’ version of the Thunderbird.

The other new Thunderbird variant for 2014 is the Commander, a ‘muscle’ or hot rod styled cruiser in a similar vein to Harley’s Fat Bob.

Another newcomer is the ‘America LT’ – effectively a ‘baby bagger’ based on the America. While thhe America and Speedmaster are also refreshed.

Meanwhile Triumph has also announced a Special Editioon (SE) version of its rugged Tiger 800XC, which gets a red frame and cockpit infill panels, striking ‘Volcanic Black’ paint and black finished handlebars, heat shields and pillion grab rails.
