Optional extras

Anonymous, 07 September 2012 15:26

Perusing the pages of one of Britain's more respectable newspapers (if there is such a thing nowadays), I came across an interesting article on the subject of added extras on modern cars. Apparently the average car driver is fed up with the countless and often useless options available on their car, with nearly 90% saying they wished manufacturers would just ...

Ducati Woes

graham dore, 09 May 2012 11:16

I own a Ducati Multistrada 1200S which I bought from new in 2010. After a year and a half of trouble free riding the ABS warning light came on last November. I took it to the Ducati dealer and 6 months and 4 visits later, the bike has not been fixed. Various parts have been replaced on the bike (under ...

Which bike should I choose?

RICHARD545, 05 April 2012 08:58

I've been given a budget of approximately £7500 by my employer to buy a replacement for my 2004 Hornet 600. I need to commute 50 miles into London from Essex every day and initially thought of either a new 600 Hornet, its big brother the CB1000R, or a Street Triple. Then a friend suggested, as it's not my money and I ...

I fell in love with the Triumph Tiger 800XC

John, 12 March 2011 21:19

I bought my first adventure bike today. A Triumph Tiger 800XC. I took my Ducati 999 (2006) for a regular service, took the Tiger for a test ride and fell in love. As my mind was set to buy a new bike I even took a Hayabusa for a test ride (perhaps to overcome my love for the 800XC). However I ...

New Triumph Trophy

Simon, 01 February 2011 18:58

Check out the photo. It is the DVLA registration and states that the engine size is a 1050. Interesting eh? I wouldn't mind it being 1050, as long as there is enough down grunt like the old Trophy! I have one and if this is out soon, I will have my name down PDQ!!!

Travel insurance biker discrimination

TonyD001, 22 November 2010 17:46

I recently went on holiday to Gran Caneria and hired a motorbike for two days to tour the island and I had a great couple of days. But it turns out that if I had injured myself on it my Direct Line Single Trip Travel Policy would not payout a claim as the bike was greater than 125cc. There is no wording ...

New Sprint ST

peter hutton, 11 March 2010 10:27

It would be interesting to hear from Triumph how long this new Sprint ST has been on trial. I too spotted this bike whilst driving along the A4212 in North Wales - it would have been late summer 2008 or spring 2009. I owned a 1050 ST at the time and spotted one in my mirrors overtaking cars behind, so knew it ...
