bloomonkey, 24 December 2012 16:06

I decided to customise my Royal Enfield Bullet 500 into a bobber style with a meagre budget of less than a grand. I did everything from the engine rebuild to the respray and artwork on the tank.

Aprilia RS250 Simoncelli tribute

andysxv550, 10 July 2012 15:08

It's not quite finished yet but here's what I've been working on for the past couple of months. It started out as a fairly scruffy Aprilia RS250 which I stripped, cleaned, serviced, MoT'd etc. I added the RS body work, pipes and carbon bits from Jap4performance, and then set about painting it. Phase 4 XT500 Supermoto

Anonymous, 14 December 2009 23:44

Thought your readers might be interested in seeing my (Final Edition) XT500 Supermoto. You exhibited my phase 3 model on your stand at the Excel Show in London last year. Bike weighs 110KG wet and produces 50bhp at the rear wheel. There are 16 pre-set ignition advance curves. Deemed to be the most powerful XT500 ever built. Regards Dave Newitt (www.yamaha-xt500.com)

Think Bike or not

luke 7R, 23 January 2008 13:04

When I first passed by bike test I had an Aprilia RS 250, I loved the old stink wheel and did about 8000 trouble free miles on it before I thought it was time to get something a bit bigger and cheaper to run (£13 per litre of 2-stroke and 90 miles to a tank of fuel). After a few ...
