I'm thinking of getting a Fazer as my 2nd bike. Don't worry I won't go seeing how fast it goes but I was wondering if you can actually get a 33bhp restriction kit for it? And if so does anyone know how much it strangulates the power?

Hello - am a new FZ6 owner. Has anyone on this formum had experience of using the taller touring screen you can get from Yamaha? Find above 80ish the buffeting is rather harsh and unsure whether to splurge %XA380 on it if only a marginal improvement on the standard. Thanks!

Had my Fazer for nearly 10 months now and done 7000 miles. First bike and enjoying it immensley. Yes, there are days when I don't like it - mainly when it's raining on the way to work.......... Any way, wanted advice on whether there are any benefits to an after market end can other than sound and performance? Some guy in a bike shop tried telling me it would improve fuel economy but no-one else I speak to says this. Any help appreciated as I don't think I can justify it to myself on the basis of sound and performance ...

What tyres are we running, and for what use are they for?? I've currently got Dunlop D252, supposed to be for road / touring / town riding. Dunlop are currently saying it'll be 3 months minimum before they get any more in the UK so I'm looking for replacements.

Guys, be aware of this issue with the Throttle Positioning Sensor http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?page=motorcyclenews.messageboard.forum.thread&threadID=191272#first Links also to bigger forum on sportbikes.net where the Yanks have really rallied around and getting this issue sorted. Don't let the dealer fob you off with 'injector adjustments' as this just won't do any good.
