I have a 98 TL1000S which last winter was left in gear whilst hibernating in the garage. It now has a very stiff gear change which changing the oil has not improved. Also in the last couple of weeks I have experienced two occaisons where there has been a drastic loss of power only allowing me to limp home with the engine running really roughly as if a plug has gone. Any suggestions please.

My '97 TLS keeps cutting out, when hot and I can't seem to find a reason why? I'm running it on Ultimate and the occasional tin of injector cleaner to try and help. friend of mine had a TLS and all he could offer was you get used to it!?!? It perhaps does this 2-4 times every time I'm out, always at lower revs...............is it something that can be cured by a service at a Suzuki dealship? It's bloody annoying as I really like the 'bike, my first V-twin. Mark

Is it a common fault with the TLs getting clutch-slip arond the 6,550-8,000 mark? gets a bit annoying when tring to put a bit of a wriggle on and nothing happens for a while.................I have to back off a touch and then try again. Is it just a clutch-spring change or plates as well? It's a '97 "R" reg, probably original clutch........................ Mark

Many, Many TLs have frames that have cracked, Suzuki have refused to repair mine even though it is near the headstock and I believe highly dangerous. I would like to hear from all the other UK riders and any advice to solve my deadlock with Suzuki will be appreciated. s.obrien3@ntlworld.com
