Exhaust law to hit Guernsey

A majority of States members in Guernsey have requested a law to be passed to limit the noise made by vehicles, with motorcycle exhausts being at the forefront of the issue. Two week motorcycle and other vehicle checks on the Isle of Man

Motorcyclists on the Isle of Man are facing two weeks of roadside spot checks from the police to coincide with the ‘Be safe, be seen’ campaign. All motocyclists and other motorists on the Island could have their motorcycles and other vehicles examined involving scrutinizing of tyres, lights and brakes by Department of Transport Vehicle Examiners.

Comedian Ross Noble has been raising money for Riders for Health by selling posters on his tour and also auctioning off two items to the highest bidder. A signed shirt and banner both sold last week on a popular auction website making a total of £575.

Nicola Kidman’s hubby in bike crash

Nicole Kidman’s country signer husband, Keith Urban, crashed his motorcycle last week and claimed it was because he was being chased by a member of the paparazzi on another motorcycle. The snapper helped Urban back to his feet before the singer signed autographs and continued to ride home.
