Staff Blog: Roll on summer

Michael Neeves, 07 May 2013 09:40

If someone told me a few years ago, I’d want a bike with panniers and a centre stand, I’d have thought they were mad. But here I am, about to spend the summer with the 2013 Ducati Hyperstrada – a bike with panniers, a centre stand and even 12v power sockets, for god’s sake. Of course, the Hyperstrada is about ...

TT Race for Sale

Michael Neeves, 13 March 2013 16:05

Don’t worry, it’s not the 2013 Isle of Man TT races going under the hammer, it’s the number plate: TT12 ACE, selling for £3000. If you squash the numbers 1 and 2 up to make an R, stand well back and squint, it reads TT RACE… probably. It you can imagine the plate adorning your motorcycle, car or TT motorhome, ...

Goodwood is go!

Michael Neeves, 02 July 2010 10:26

I've just arrived at the Goodwood Festival of Speed having ridden down on our group test winning BMW K1300GT and very nice it was too. It was comfy on the motorways and easy with the cruise control, whilst being fun on the twisty roads on the final run into Goodwood. Yesterday was set up day for the Festival of Speed, one ...

You'd want to stay out of the fast group at this one...

Michael Neeves, 10 June 2010 13:08

I am at the Focused Events track day at the new Silverstone Circuit riding the Team Vari-Trac BMW Park Lane S1000RR I'm racing this season. Theoretically, on this bike, I should be one of the faster riders out there. It hasn't quite worked out that way. I've just been out on track in the fast group and was buzzed by ...
