Friday Funny: Great Escape tribute

An advert for Anchor butter shows a cow making a Steve McQueen style bid for freedom with a daredevil motorcycle jump. The tribute to one of the most famous bike scenes of all time from 'The Great Escape' differs from the original in a big way though - this time around he makes it and wheelies off into the sunset!

Anti-speed camera activist blows hands off

France’s answer to Captain Gatso has been rushed to hospital, after blowing off both his hands with a home-made bomb. The postal worker, who has links to a French group that blows up speed cameras, is reportedly in a critical condition after the accident.

Britain's oldest bikers

Fireman biker head-butts 60-year-old

A fireman from Chichester has been sentenced for head-butting a 60-year-old man while still wearing his motorcycle helmet in a road rage incident. Darren Hurford, 40, was sentenced to an 18-month community order with supervision and ordered to pay £250 compensation and £175 in costs at Worthing Magistrates Court last week.
