MCN Editor Marc Potter will be one of the first journalists in the world to ride the new Ducati 1098S.  
Following our world exclusive first tests on the standard 1098 and the world first pictures we showed you almost one month ago, we’re all set to get in the sat of the higher-spec S version. 
The bike’s being launched at the famous Kyalami race circuit in South Africa. 
As well as full access to all the technical staff and the bikes we’re also planning to bring you an exclusive ride on a hotted-up 1098 S with full Termignoni silencers and upgraded EPROM, which is claimed to put out 10bhp more than standard. 
That means a shocking 172bhp from a V-twin.
