John McGuiness' TT World breaking tyre

Here is your chance to own a piece of road racing history – the tyre from John McGuiness’ 130mph TT record braking Honda CBR1000 Fireblade.

The tyre is up for sale on a popular auction site along with a few other items all in aid to raise money for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.  

Along with the tyre there is also a TT polo shirt and TT Centenary Nitro helmet signed by the TT winner, and a 2007 TT T-shirt signed by all the riders who rode in this year’s Parade of Champions.

The money raised from these sales will go towards raising awareness for cancer alongside the Amazon Heart Thunder ride involving 20 women who will ride Harley-Davidson's from Edinburgh to London on August 22.
