Britain's got biking talent: Your bike in the 2008 Carole Nash calendar
15 August 2007 08:30
We’ve got seven of the world’s most famous biking brains lined up to help judge the Britain’s Got Biking Talent competition – and if you want to be a part of it then you’d better be quick, because there’s only one week left to take part.
It’s the final chance to be in with a shot of getting your bike on thousands of garage walls and dealership pin-boards in the 2008 Carole Nash calendar for next year.
Helping us to sort out the very best motorcycles in the UK are British Superbike star Chris Walker, Dick Glover - the man responsible for Britain’s next sportsbike, the Ecosse Spirit ES1, the design brain behind the radical 1125R Buell John Keogh, Glynn Kerr who has penned design sweeps for most of the best selling motorcycles across the world and Martin Longmore, the man behind the Aprilia Mille and Falco.
The six biking brains will be joined by MCN Editor Marc Potter as part of the judging panel that will decided the best 12 entries to our massive Britain’s Got Biking Talent competition – and we still want YOU to take part.
Entering the competition is simple. If you think your bike has what it takes to feature as a picture of the month in the 2008 Carole Nash calendar then all you have to do is upload your picture.

, in a professionally shot image of them and their bike. The owner of the one outstanding machine will also win the top prize of tickets a MotoGP of his or her choice, with flights and accommodation all paid for courtesy of Carole Nash.
The runner-up will win an Arai helmet, and the third-placed owner will get a free place on MCN’s Rider Confidence Training course which helps improve your control.
All 12 winners will also get VIP tickets to the NEC Bike Show, where the winning bikes will be on display from the first day, plus one night’s hotel accommodation.
Winners and their bikes will need to be available between September 24 and October 7, 2007 for a photo shoot, and available to attend the NEC Show press day on November 22, 2007.
To enter, register with www.motorcyclenews.com and click on ‘Community’ and then ‘Rate My Bike’.
You can then upload digital images and specs of your bike, which will be seen and rated out of five by bikers across the planet. Try to pick images taken in good light against a clear background, without anybody sitting on it – this makes it easier for people to appreciate your bike and give you a better chance of winning.
Once registered on the site, you also be able to rate the competition.
If you think your bike can outclass these, you’d better hurry up and enter.
Note to entrants: Please allow 24 hours for your bike to be seen on the gallery.
