Let the judging begin!

Will you see your motorcycle starring in the 2008 Carole Nash Calendar ?

Over the past four weeks over 1,400 MCN readers and website users have been uploading pictures of their bikes into the Britain’s Got Biking Talent competition.

We have had all sorts of bikes uploaded, from an absolutely mint standard bikes to the most tricked up machines possible. We have got sports bikes, in-your-face choppers, hardcore streetfighters, restored and modified classics, ultra-rare models, and even one with a skeleton on the back!

But now the judging is about to begin, we have got together a team of top judges to look over the bikes and draw up a shortlist. The people who will be looking at your bike to see if it’s got what it takes include British Superbike star Chris Walker, Dick Glover – the man responsible for Britain’s next sportsbike, the Ecosse Spirit ES1, the design brain behind the radical 1125R Buell John Keogh, Glynn Kerr who has penned design sweeps for most of the best selling motorcycles across the world and Martin Longmore, the man behind the Aprilia Mille and Falco, Jane Omorogbe, The Sun’s Biker Correspondent / Columnist plus MCN Editor Marc Potter.

Once the Judges have selected the Top 50 you can vote for the bikes you want to see in the Carole Nash Calendar. Voting takes place from September 5-September 21, the 12 entries with the most votes will make up the Carole Nash Calendar 2008.

Top prize for the machine and owner with the most votes is a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the MotoGP of your choice – with all flights and accommodation paid for.

The runner-up will receive an Arai helmet, while the third-place owner will get a free place on an MCN Rider Confidence Training course. And all the top 12 will have their bikes professionally photographed for the 2008 Carole Nash calendar, along with a framed photo of them and their bike. The 12 winners also get a VIP ticket to the NEC Bike Show, along with one night’s hotel accomodation, and get to see their bikes unveiled on the first day of the show.
