Barry Sheene never raced any Ducati motorcycle, let alone a Monster.
So quite why the great man was the inspiration for this retro-themed Monster is anyone’s guess. But it’s hard to deny that it looks great anyway. Originally a modern 916-powered Monster S4, the motorcycle has been transported back in time, with 1970’s style details such as the braced tubular steel swingarm, period Ducati logos on the tank and engine cases and a flip-top fuel cap.
The motorcycle has also been fitted with a small white number board typical of classic naked race bikes.
The job is finished in vibrant shade of red with the Sheene trademark number seven with a strike through.
