Your speeeding fine could vary depending on how far you eceeded the limit

A sliding scale of speeding fines depending on how far over the limit you are is to be pursued by ministers.
Riders caught greatly exceeding the speed limit on their motorcycle would face charges as high as £100 and six penalty points. The consultation on the changes will launch this autumn according to the DFT.
