IAM call for a change in roadside barriers

Motorcyclists are 30 times more likely to be killed in an accident than those in cars, and 15 per cent of these accidents, according to the IAM Motoring Trust, are due to roadside crash barriers.
IAM director Neil Greig said, “It is irrational and unacceptable that roadside barriers, which prevent deaths and injuries to thousands of car occupants, kill motorcyclists.”
