Three new arrests over Hells Angel shooting

Police investigating the murder of Hells Angel Gerard Tobin who was shot dead while riding on the M40 have made three new arrests early this morning.

Three men are to be questioned on suspicion of of conspiracy to commit murder following arrests in Coventry and Milton Keynes.

Warwickshire Police said in a statement: ‘A 44-year-old man was arrested from his home address in Aldermans Green, Coventry, a 45-year-old man was arrested from his home on a narrow boat moored on the Coventry Canal near to Aldermans Green, Coventry, and a third male, aged 52 years, was arrested in Milton Keynes.’

Hells Angel Gerard Tobin, 35, was shot dead on August 12 while returning from the Bulldog Bash at Long Marston Airfield near Stratford.

Four men have already been charged over the killing and are currently remanded in custody.

Simon Turner, 40, Dane Garside, 41, and Sean Creighton, 43, are charged with murder and a firearms offence, and Dean Taylor, 45, with a firearms offence.

They are due to appear at Birmignham Crown Court on November 26, 2007.
