A stuntman who was injured during the filming of Mission Impossible II in 1999 is suing Paramount Pictures for $2m after a motorcycle hit him during filming.

In the scene, a motorcycle was to jump from the end of a bridge over two guards standing with their guns drawn.

However the stunt malfunctioned and Mark Joseph Connolly took the full brunt of a motorcycle landing on him. He suffered a broken collar bone, fractured forearm, bruising and shock.
