British Switch:Blade kit converts 1990s FireBlades to modern streetfighters

An off-the-shelf kit to turn 1990s Honda CBR900RR FireBlades into stunning moder custom streetfighters is about to go into production from UK firm BDO Motorcycles.

The motorcycle is designed to be as simple to build as possible, with the engine, wheels, brakes and forks fitting straight in from the standard motorcycle, and the kit comes with everything you need to build a complete motorcycle.

Donor motorcycles can be any Honda CBR900RR FireBlade built between 1992-1999, and the price of the basic kit is £7637. There is a range of upgraded parts available including Ohlins suspension, Dymag wheels and AP Racing brakes.
