Isle of Man based airline EuroManx has gone bust after only five years of business and all further operations have now stopped.

A statement from the airline said: “Rising fuel prices and reduced passenger numbers have proved to be insurmountable obstacles to the airline being able to continue to operate.”

Airlines Flybe Manx2 and VLM will offer alternative services to the island for affected travellers.
