The Honda CB1000R will cost £6950

Honda CB1000R due to go on sale July 4

Honda’s CB1000R is scheduled to go on sale in dealers on July 4, following a successful European launch in April.

The Honda CB1000R would be available in standard trim for £6950, with an ABS-equipped version priced at £7450, excluding road taxes.

Four colour options are due to be on offer: dragon green, pearl nightstar black, sword silver, and pearl cool white.

I've heard people on HondaCB1000R.com saying about going to Italy to fetch theirs, sounds like a great deal! You'd pay £7,070 in total in the UK for the non-ABS model

The pricing in the UK seems to be very aggresive indeed! Here in Sweden the ABS version will go for £9940 and the non-ABS version will be £9360! This is including VAT. I was one of the very first in Sweden to order one. The reason I know is because Honda Sweden will celebrate Honda's 60 years in business by sending the first 20 buyers down to the factory to pick up your bike in person at the factory. That sure will be a lot of fun but I believe I'd rather pay the UK priceof £7450 for it instead... How much will the UK road tax be?
