Triumph Speed Triples are a favourite of riders who like to modify their motorcycles, but for those not confident in their eye for detail, dealer Jack Lilley offer ready-built one-offs – this is the latest.
The 2007-model 1050 was re-sprayed in Caspian blue (a genuine Triumph colour, but not offered on the 1050) with white stripes inspired by the Shelby Cobra classic sports car.
The standard fork legs were re-anodised in gloss black, and the sliders were coated in low-friction gold nitride. The handlebars are now tough alloy Fatbars instead of standard chromed steel, the brake/clutch levers were swapped for Pazzo adjustable shorty levers and standard
Breathing and looks are improved over standard with a Zard full exhaust system with a low-mounted megaphone silencer (ceramic coated in black for stealth looks and lower surface temperature), and the standard wheels get colour-coded spokes with polished rims to complete the cosmetic make-over.
The bike is on sale for £10999 on the road, £3200 more than a standard 2007 model Triumph Speed Triple. Details: 01784 420421.
