Video: What do Suzuki SV650 owners think of the new Suzuki Gladius?

Suzuki recently unveiled the replacement for the current SV650, the Suzuki SVF650 Gladius.

The Gladius is based on the same v-twin engine as the SV650, but is aimed at a more novice audience. The major change is the styling, which is a lot funkier, bringing the bike in to line with competitors like the Kawasaki ER-6n and Ducati Monster 696.

Suzuki Gladius

Hopefully Suzuki will aim the 650 Gladius at the novice. Then they can give the SV a bigger engine with similar faired sport and unfaired roadster versions. That way, the novice can have the lower powered Gladius and give the more experienced rider a serious road weapon.

as I said, it's Suzy Gladys for girls;)

Suzuki so often had chosen such a soft shapes but for me better version of this was first Hayabusa. I would prefer rather their GSR model with V2 650cc. An of cousre an existing SV 650.
