Michael Schumacher suffers first motorcycle crash

It had to happen some time.

These pictures from a German newspaper show former Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher being brought back down to earth with a bump, after locking up the rear wheel of his Honda Fireblade.

The crash is the first suffered by the racer in a burgeoning motorcycle racing career that has so-far seen him consistently finish on the podium.

Despite his obvious skill on two-wheels, Schumacher maintains that motorcycling is just a hobby for him, and he has no plans to try his hand at MotoGP racing.
