Insurance offer could cut premium on Suzuki GSX-R750

Insurance in this industry is getting on my tits! When I first got into biking I went straight for a new high power bike, that year at the bike show the biggest stand by far belonged to an insurance broker (rhymes with gravel rash). So I see how much they want... Guess what NO QUOTE... "Come back when you have some no claims discount". That was ten years ago, now I'm a luck lad and have 4 bikes which have been on a trade policy, but its less than adequate for theft cover. I tried a company called Footman James who offered me cracking cover for all 4 bikes fully comp £450 quid including breakdown cover and europe travel cover. I just thought I would double check with another company who offer multi bike (gravel rash) (I'll give anyone a second chance) guess what... "You must be mistaken sir, a fireblade for how much?" No Quote! Its all very well plucking at the people with 3 or 4 years no claims but how do they get it in the first place? Its the smaller companies who can't afford a feckin flash stand at the NEC who get new bikers insured! SO... (sorry for the rant) I won't be going back to Gravel Rash in a few years time, not while I have a particularly smelly hole in my Ass! In my opinion they go against the basic ethics of the biking community. Thank you again Footman James!
