Bag a bargain scooter from Peugeot

Peugeot has slashed the price of its scooter range as it looks to promote two-wheelers as a means of beating the credit crunch.

The firm has cut the price of its Satelis 125cc by £300 to £2,799, and has slashed £600 from the price of its Satelis 500cc, which is now priced at £3,999. By far the biggest saving is on Peugeot’s 250cc Geopolis, which is reduced by £1,100 to £2,999.

Figures from Peugeot shows that scooter sales grew 7.4% in June, which suggests car drivers are already seeing the benefits of switching to two wheels.
