Police in North Wales have converted a horse box into a stealth speed camera to target motorcyclists, according to an insider.
The new hidden speed camera unit was due to be trialled yesterday in Llandegla, near the Ponderosa Café, our source said.
He said: “North Wales Police have purchased a horse box trailer for use in covert operations aimed specifically at motorcyclists.”
He said riders in the area should “use caution”.
North Wales Police made no immediate comment.

Hidden Camers, What chance have any of us got in an era where Superbikes will do 105mph in first gear, myself and my friends stay off the main roads and use the best traffic free roads in our area, but come on hidden cameras unmarked Cars & Bikes, why don't they go find some burglars and thiefs, even when you call them you are lucky if they have time to come, a number of years ago I saw a device for sale that drops the number plate on an hinge operated by a button on the bars it was alledgedly for bikes overseas does any one know where i can aquire one? at the risk of an instant ban & increased insurance just to entertain the cop's I really mean to invest in one of these and give my self a 50/50 chance can anyone help or remember the item?

Against thier own regs?
Aren't speed cameras / vans etc supposed to be clearly marked (as a deterrent) and sited in recognised trouble spots? This clearly isn't going to be marked and they may as well have saved their money and stuck a Gatso behind a bill-board. Twats!
