Dozens of ex-police Honda Pan Europeans are up for sale on the internet after forces deemed them unfit to use.

The Pan Europeans were withdrawn from police use last year following reports of a high speed wobble. Honda claimed any problem would affect police bikes only because they have up-rated suspension for heavy loads.

Previously the decommissioned police bikes have been auctioned as scrap but the latest batch have been converted back to standard specification and are on sale for the road. They start from £3,495 at www.forcemotorcycles.com
