Father reunited with Sunbeam motorcycle

1 of 2

Two sons have reunited their 77-year-old father with the Sunbeam S7 Deluxe he rode in the 1950s.

Paul and John Kilminster from Guernsey spent 17 years tracking down KNM 664, which their father Dave had bought for £145 in May 1955.

Kilminster used the bike as his daily commute and for trips to everywhere from Newquay to the south of France, before selling it in 1959 to fund a move to Guernsey.

Kilminster instantly regretted selling the bike and tried to track it down, but it was not until his sons stepped in decades later that he was reunited with the Sunbeam.
