Norton move in!

There is no way any new Norton line-up should be as cheap as the Bonneville. To suggest this is to misunderstand entirely the very nature of Norton and it's heritage. You just have to look back to the heyday of Norton and the marque's obsession with dominating track racing over so many years. Where was Triumph during this period? Exactly! The whole point of Norton is that it should be THE premium British motorcycle and so should not even attempt to compete with Bloor's Thai-made Bonnies. But, for God's sake, forget the damned Rotary engine: no one understood it commercially when it first came out: why should then now? Having ridden the Commando pictured (the black one) I can tell you that it was enormous fun but it sure as hell needs a few million spent on it if S. Garner, Esq. is serious about going into production.

Wish Stuart Garner all the luck in the world to bring Norton back the top, hope Norton are no longer an endagered species.

The new Commando looks stunning! Hope the price isn't too silly!
