TL1000S owner saved our WSBK weekend!

My partner and I attended the WSBK round at Monza. In true style we rode down on my Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade and her Ducati 916 with no problems at all.

We had a great time on the twisty Alpine roads and enjoyed the weekend at Monza – great venue with very friendly Italians everywhere who insisted on gathering around the Ducati prior to starting and then congratulating her on the choice of bike The engineering excellence of the Firebalde is lost on them!

Anyway, I would like to thank Mr King (TL1000S owner) for saving the day on Thursday when I tested the full tank range of the 1000RR on the M40 (201.7 including rolling to a stand still).

I pushed the beast for a mile before he arrived. He pulled over in his van, gave me a lift to the next garage and then dropped me back off! A true hero. Thanks mate you saved the day – female irritation was soon to follow! Rich.
