We’ve got video of the 2009 Yamaha R1 and the Aprilia RSV4 in action for the first time with Max Biaggi, Ben Spies and Tom Sykes out on track at the Portimao circuit.

The two machines have been racking up the laps and both of them sound absolutely incredible with the R1 sounding just like a MotoGP bike thanks to the Long Bang engine. Check out the the Yamaha video to see Sykes get in a few laps on the 08 bike as well.
