The Suzuki Gladius is entirely new from the ground up. The most significant change is the new styling, very different from the old, bland Suzuki SV650.
MCN's Adam Child was impreesed at the launch of the Gadius: "It looks good in the flesh - funky, stylish and doesn’t feel budget despite the low asking price of £4500. But it’s not just a styling makeover, there’s a new trellis Ducati-style chassis, and upgraded suspension and brakes.
"The engine is very similar to the old bike but with increased power and low to midrange torque."
