Video: 2009 Yamaha R1 first impressions

MCN Road Tester Michael Neeves is at Eastern Creek, Australia testing the latest incarnation of the Yamaha R1. Here’s his trackside first impressions on the new flagship supersports model.

Neeves is clearly impressed with the new Yamaha YZF-R1 and hails it in his first ride report as one of the best sportsbikes he’s ever ridden, going on to say “I was shaking after my first ride on the new R1, it’s so different, so exciting and so damn good”.
