MCN's Andy Downes is testing the new VFR1200F in Japan and he's had his first taste of riding the new 170bhp super tourer. Watch the video to hear the bike running.
Check out next week's issue of MCN, on sale Wednesday Oct 28, for the full report.

It ain't got no alibi...
It's u-g-l-y. I'm confused about the direction Honda are going in with their styling (apart from the CBR600RR - although they'll probably mess that up soon enough too). Does anyone else think their bikes are starting to look like a 1980s vision of what we'd all be riding in 2010?!
What's the point in all that fancy technology, R&D and attention to detail when the end result is as desirable as Margaret Beckett's armpit? I'm still not sold on the 2008 Fireblade's stubby front end and it looks like all full-faired Honda's will be adobting this flat-faced look in the not too distant...

Why can't we get something like this instead of the drivel that is being put out in the UK.
I'll be bookmarking this site as there is some good information on it.

Sound?
Hummm...really not sure about the sound, sounds really flat and boring...The rest of the machine is pretty much what I would have been looking for, but I think I'll wait for the next generation of Sprint ST. Cause for me the sound is as important as handling for the overall experience! Triple engines, now that's music! :)
