We’ve just got some action video sent back from Japan following the preview launch of the new Honda VFR1200F last week.
The video shows the bike on track at Sugo and also on the infield roads around the Sugo Sportland complex where MCN got a chance to try both the manual and Dual Clutch Transmission versions to get a closer idea of what it’s like on the road.
The full verdict on the bike is in this week’s issue of MCN, on sale now.

BMW?
Blimey, I had to look carefully at the badge, it's ugly enough to be a BMW.

VFR???
Well I am very dissapointed that Honda never gave the blackbird a mention in its title, as the XX was by far the best hyper sports sold, and yet again the panniers are not standard, when will honda ever learn.
To be honest, all my bike mates said we would have to pay through the nose again for the essentials needed on a sports tourer, why cant honda take a leaf out of Kawasakis book and Yamaha,Triumph, BMW, etc, so no matter how good it is I for one will be heading for the best all round package for my hard earned, Probably the GTR1400...followed by my bike mates.

VFR ACCESSORIES
For Paul49. The panniers, top box and hugger are all extra and there is a Honda specific tank bag if memory serves me correctly it is about 10/11 litre volume. If you log onto the Honda web site it has a list of all the extras but unfortunately at this time no prices. Ciao

Honda VFR 1200
Frankly speaking it looks and sounds a bit dull. Well, quite dull actually. Maybe it's the same designer team who came up with the DN01...
