MCN news reporter Andy Downes has recently bought a 1998 Honda CBR600F as a do-everything daily commuter and weeekend scratcher.
Watch the video to see why he claims this 12-year-old sportsbike can still cut it:

Danger!!!
Looks like the pitch bolts are missing from the bottom of the front fork ... I'd have a good look at it before riding it any further

Versatile
I'm well over 6' tall & the only two 600's from the 20th century I road & felt reasonably comfortable on were the FZR600R & the CBR600R - both great bikes then but I'd only consider the CBR now because of the Honda's better versatlilty & build quality.

The truth is out! It's god's own bike.... Does what it says on the can (fairing) C.omplete B.lo**y F.un and my 41000 miler still goes well enough to play with ZZR1400's! Servicing is the key, regular and well done. I would ditch the can for something a little more 'persuasive' tho.......
