With the introduction this year of Ducati's new lighter and more powerful 1078cc Hypermotard Evo SP, the Italian manufacturer now has a full-on, twin cylinder supermoto capable of taking on KTM's previously dominant 990 SM-R.

To set them apart, we rode them 400 miles to Mallory Park to assess their race credentials.
