MV's new 990 Brutale is now both more user-friendly and cheaper than a Yamaha R1, but does that make it the best of the affordable super nakeds?
Watch the video to see the new MV go head-to-head with the KTM Super Duke and Ducati Streetfighter. Read the full test in this week's MCN, on sale Wednesday 17 March.

brutale r youve missed the point
I wasn't crowing about anything.
I was hoping the test would tell me whether, at 6ft 4", it would be worth my while making a long trek to try one out. One of the points I was making, was that the testers, all being 5ft 9 or less, did nothing to help me in this respect. Furthermore, if you had looked at my profile, you would have seen that I am actually a fan of the Brutale !
Next time, before being unpleasant and launching into someone try reading what was written and not being quite so paranoid.

MCN are out of touch
1. The KTM is not the 'cheapest'. At over £10 k it is the least expensive - there is a difference !!
2. 'Affordable super nakeds'. At £8k (at least £2k less than the three bikes tested) where was the Speed Triple?
3. Three testers ALL of whom are below average hight (the least short being 5'9") - great planning and of absolutely no help to those of us over 6ft ...
I was greatly looking forwards to this test, but in the event I believe it to be one of the poorest that I have seen in MCN for quite some time. What a pity.
