Proper helmet fitment

MotoMan2, 04 January 2012 23:02

Although ordering a helmet isn’t a true science, making sure it fits properly is very important. To make sure you are wearing the right helmet for your head, follow these steps to protect you on the road. First, measure your head. Wrap a tape measure horizontally around your head about one inch above your eyebrows. Find a string to wrap ...

RST Paragon 2 textile suit review

Matt Watkins, 08 August 2011 10:05

Product: RST Paragon 2 textile two-piece suit Price paid: Jacket £169.99, Pants £139.99 Score: 3/10 I ride a 75 mile round trip commute daily and opted to buy some waterproof textiles instead of leathers. I figured that if I would be riding in all weathers and seasons, an all round jack of all trades suit would be the best option. ...

Michelin Pilot Pure's

David Wormald, 20 May 2011 12:02

Having always used Pirelli tyres on my RSV I decided to give the Michelin Pilot Pure a go; multi compond, lighter etc and I liked the 2CTs. I had a trip to Monza lined up after all and thought that with the combination of motorway touring and then caning it through the Alps, weather permitting, these would offer the best ...

Castrol bke polish

YoungHomer, 11 March 2011 21:52

Castrol Bike Polish (£6) The can comes in 300ml size which is plenty to use for a long period of time on your two wheeled pride and joy. It splatters a bit when you spray it so spray it onto a cloth and wipe it onto your chosen surface. Let it dry for a few minutes, then with a clean ...

Gore Lock out

Barry, 10 March 2011 13:34

I was very interested to read your article on the Gore lock out zip. I found Hein Gerike had a sale on, so I took my self off and bought a jacket with this closure system. I have to say it works as far as keeping the water out, but that seems to be about as good as it gets. Zipping the jacket ...

EXO Heated gloves

Anonymous, 24 February 2011 15:46

What’s good: They are warm surprisingly and don't take too long to heat up. They don't take long to set up either, it's just a simple cable from your battery to a cable that I normally put under my jacket. What’s Not: After a few weeks they stopped working and haven't since! They are also no good in really cold ...

Great service from RST

Anonymous, 20 January 2011 19:19

I was riding to a hospital appointment this morning and, out of the blue, my bike slid from under me. I was only doing about 25-30mph on a straight road, but still managed to drop it. My bike only received minor damage but it's because of my RST kit that I'm submitting this story. I bought a set of RST Paragon ...

Metzeler Rennsports

med, 28 December 2010 18:10

I wanted a good trackday tyre without having to spend £240 or more, so I got myself a pair of Metzeler Rennsports. As you can see in the pics they allowed plenty of lean angle, had a quick warm up time and gave great feedback. All for £150 a pair new!

BMW ProTouring Boots

YoungHomer, 15 September 2010 20:41

This is my review based on a full year's useage (all seasons) of the BMW ProTouring Boots: COMFORT: They are very comfortable. But see CONSTRUCTION section below. WATERPOOF: The first pair I bought immediately let in water at the toes. I returned them back to my local BMW dealer and they were replaced. I guess the first pair were faulty. ...
