Can Datatool alarms be bypassed?

Anonymous, 02 August 2010 14:05

Last week my Triumph Street Triple, '09 plate LJ09 EVV with about 4,500 miles, was stolen from outside my house. The bike was covered, had the wheel lock on, and the alarm was armed and functioning. I was never more than 30 feet from the bike - was watching TV in the front room - and the alarm did not ...

I can honestly say this is the worst helmet I have ever had. Within 3 months of buying this helmet the chin-bar vent broke and wouldn't close. It is incredibly noisy (ride without earplugs at your peril), the inner visor is far too lightly tinted to be properly useful. Most worryingly when you ride in heavy rain you get rain ...

Arai Tour X3 review

chris wilson, 14 July 2010 17:12

I purchased an Arai Tour X3 last year to go with my Yamaha XT660Z Tenere. I was sligtly concerned about the wind catching the peak at high speeds, so I did my research and read many reviews before buying. All seemed to rate the lid high. Although the helmet is top quality and very comfy, I'm very dissapointed with it. It catches ...

Sidi Rain Evo

JohnPierre, 17 March 2010 11:39

These boots are very light yet supportive, and are great quality. The zip up and velcro provide a good fit and support the ankle well. Coming off my bike at 40mph with the bike landing on my ankle, these boots offered maximum protection and I was more than pleased. They stood up well to the abrasive treatment they recieved during the ...

Sidi Canyon boot review

lordlucan, 09 March 2010 11:43

Riding a BMW R1150 RT I was looking for a mid-priced touring boot, specifically with a 'adventurer' type sole. I tried on a couple of Sidi racing boots for size and found the sizing confusing. Normally size 9 is Euro 43 but according to Sidi size 9 is Euro 44 so beware of this if ordering over the internet. Richard ...

BMW system 6 helmet

Tony Pammen, 28 February 2010 13:19

I bought the BMW system 6 helmet just over a week ago as I commute to work just over a 140 miles per day And due to "global warming" it hasn't stopped raining since buying this lid! Didn't start too well, bought it Saturday and took it back Monday because the visor was leaking top centre with an annoying drip like chinese torture. ...

Fab motorcycle goggles

Jim Forkin, 24 February 2010 11:34

I needed a pair of glasses that could be multi-function; sun-glasses, regular prescription and most importantly comfortable. I purhcased a pair of Davida WRS74 Goggles and I have to say for just under £120 they are fantastic, comfortable and great with an open face helmet.

Prescription goggles

Stephen Martin, 30 January 2010 12:47

Not a helmet review but prescription goggles. As a spectacle wearer I find an open face helmet a pain - anything over 40mph and the wind comes rushing aroud my glasses giving me watery, blurred vision. I ordered a pair of the Davida WRS74 goggles complete with my prescription and they arrived within a week -all for less than £120. Not ...

Contour HD - Helmetcam review

boxertwin, 12 January 2010 22:42

I've been using the Contour HD Helmetcam bought from Dogcamsport here in the UK for around six months now and thought I'd share it as a couple of folk had asked about which cam I was using to post videos. It's still relatively unknown here in the UK, but deserves to be much more popular here. The unit itself is ...

Can't see anything

committed, 10 December 2009 16:54

I once had a 2 day green laning adventure in the Welsh mountains in snow. I had absolutely no problem keeping warm because of the amount of work I had to do to stay on the bike, but my goggles kept steaming up. When you ride slower your breath has more effect upon what happens to the inside of your ...
