Mystery Rossi helmet

matt hatley, 08 June 2009 01:27

I purchased a racing bike back in 2001 and this helmet came with it. I have since sold the bike but the helmet has been hanging in my office ever since. I would like to know were it came from or what is the story behind the pics on it.

Lidl motorcycle trousers

Anonymous, 03 June 2009 16:15

Bought a pair of Lidl motorcycle trousers last month (May09). Got caught in a tremendous storm near the Roaches between Buxton and Leek the other day. Pleased to say that I stayed perfectly dry. So far so good.   My Aldi summer jacket is proving to be Ok although I haven't experienced rain with it yet.

Keeping rain off your visor

andybiker, 26 May 2009 12:05

Regarding keeping rain off your visor, the best way is to use a V-Wipe. No, not the sponge in a bag that helps you keep it clean but a rubber sheath complete with windscreen wiper-like blade that you slip over your gloved finger. I think it's made by Bob Heath. Brilliant!

I use an airbag jacket

Mike, 22 February 2009 09:30

I have a similar "airbag jacket" I purchased from airbagvest.com (SaudiArabia, so expect delays at customs). It is manufactured in Japan by Mugen HitAir. Long and Short of it the jacket looks excellent and works. Yes, it does make me feel slightly more invincible and no, I don't think it will save my life from a 120mph high side. That ...

Oxford heated grips problem fixed

Anonymous, 16 February 2009 12:51

I bought Oxford Hot Grips at the NEC show, but like most people never kept the receipt. They failed after just 2 months and initially Oxford just said buy a new switch. After reading comments on forums, this appears to be a common fault. However I called Oxford again and spoke to an excellent member of their staff named Charlotte. She has done everything she can to help ...
