Can Datatool alarms be bypassed?

Anonymous, 02 August 2010 14:05

Last week my Triumph Street Triple, '09 plate LJ09 EVV with about 4,500 miles, was stolen from outside my house. The bike was covered, had the wheel lock on, and the alarm was armed and functioning. I was never more than 30 feet from the bike - was watching TV in the front room - and the alarm did not ...

HJC IS-15

angieweena, 22 July 2010 21:12

I can honestly say this is the worst helmet I have ever had. Within 3 months of buying this helmet the chin-bar vent broke and wouldn't close. It is incredibly noisy (ride without earplugs at your peril), the inner visor is far too lightly tinted to be properly useful. Most worryingly when you ride in heavy rain you get rain ...

Sidi Rain Evo

JohnPierre, 17 March 2010 11:39

These boots are very light yet supportive, and are great quality. The zip up and velcro provide a good fit and support the ankle well. Coming off my bike at 40mph with the bike landing on my ankle, these boots offered maximum protection and I was more than pleased. They stood up well to the abrasive treatment they recieved during the ...

Sidi Canyon boot review

lordlucan, 09 March 2010 11:43

Riding a BMW R1150 RT I was looking for a mid-priced touring boot, specifically with a 'adventurer' type sole. I tried on a couple of Sidi racing boots for size and found the sizing confusing. Normally size 9 is Euro 43 but according to Sidi size 9 is Euro 44 so beware of this if ordering over the internet. Richard ...

Fab motorcycle goggles

Jim Forkin, 24 February 2010 11:34

I needed a pair of glasses that could be multi-function; sun-glasses, regular prescription and most importantly comfortable. I purhcased a pair of Davida WRS74 Goggles and I have to say for just under £120 they are fantastic, comfortable and great with an open face helmet.

Accessories!

Peter Tesar, 19 October 2009 16:27

This is the biggest grey area in motorcycling, Accessories... especially aftermarket wonders, that turn your back breaking ride into the perfect bike? or not as it urns out... I read an article recently about a gent wanting a peg lowering kit which grabbed my attention as I had a good chuckle, not at his request I hasten to add but ...

Chris Bridge, 27 August 2009 09:23

Hi Guys, Here's a horror story involving an exotic Italian Superbike and a Lancashire Exhaust!! Two months ago I bought an 07 Benelli Tornado Tre and wanted something a bit different for the end can. After searching on 'tinternet I found Blueflame did a rather tasty looking Black Satin jobbie. So being the impulsive type, I bought one!! Three weeks ...

Mystery Rossi helmet

matt hatley, 08 June 2009 01:27

I purchased a racing bike back in 2001 and this helmet came with it. I have since sold the bike but the helmet has been hanging in my office ever since. I would like to know were it came from or what is the story behind the pics on it.

Lidl motorcycle trousers

Anonymous, 03 June 2009 16:15

Bought a pair of Lidl motorcycle trousers last month (May09). Got caught in a tremendous storm near the Roaches between Buxton and Leek the other day. Pleased to say that I stayed perfectly dry. So far so good.   My Aldi summer jacket is proving to be Ok although I haven't experienced rain with it yet.

Dual purpose tyres for the Yamaha TDM

frankp, 04 December 2008 07:36

I own a year 2000 build TDM 850, live in Bribane Australia and ride as often as I can. My TDM has done over 120,000km and has given no trouble. I ride nearly every day and usually do a 500km loop somewhere around southern Queensland or Northern New South Wales on a Sunday. I like riding off road a bit, ...
