rc8r rear tyre size

does anyone out there know if i put a 180 on the rear what difference it would make, as on my tuono i changed it to a 180 and that made it hold a line in a bend much better and stopped it running wide.

Why Is it bad to ride with a slow puncture?

I did a quick google search, all I could find was people saying it's bad to ride with a slow puncture and not worth it but they give no reasons. The back tyre of my honda cbf125 has a slow puncture (takes a couple of weeks to go flat when left on the drive). I think the offending 'puncture' is a crack or split about 7-8mm long on the part of the tyre that touches the road. It bubbles when I put soapy water on it. Anyone know of any reason why it is dangerous to ride with a slow puncture?

Tyre choice

Hi, I have just bought a gxsr750 track bike.it has a 600 profile tyre on which needed a longer chain to accept profile. Would I be better reverting back to a 750 profile for the track or keep the smaller tyre? Any advice please, thanksSkippy

tyres

I have just purchased a 2009 600 Hornet and I will very shortly need some new tyres. I am 71 years of age and only do around 2000 dry miles (if possible) a year. I have got past putting my knee down although I do like to ''lean'' So I would like the best tyres to get the most miles out of, What do you suggest please.

Conti Road Attack 2

Black Beauty ('58 plate Fazer 600 S2) is going in for it's annual health check within the next week. The Battlax BT-020's it's currently running on will pass the test, but the back is badly squared off after 2300 (mostly motorway) miles, so the plan is to get a Conti Road Attack 2 on the back (the front is ok for now).Question is, are the RA2's any good (esp given they will see motorway use)?
