Motorcycles producing over 47bhp have escaped EU plans to make bikes impossible for owners to modify.  European Parliament has voted in favour of limiting so-called anti-tampering measures to smaller machines.  All new bikes over 125cc will get ABS under the regulation approved by MEPs. Crosstourer too sporty for pillion insurance says Aviva

Husqvarna Strada and Terra on sale next month

Husqvarna’s latest road bike is due to arrive in UK dealers early in October. The supermoto-style TR650 Strada uses the single-cylinder engine from BMW’s G650GS but tuned for 57bhp, up from 47. It costs £5971. A trailie version, the Terra, starts at £5271.
