A motorist is fighting a speeding conviction after being snapped by a speed camera on a road without speed limit signs. Over 90,000 police dodge speeding punishment

Figures released last week have shown that only one in 200 police officers caught speeding or jumping red lights face prosecution. The statistics were released under the Freedom of Information legislation showed that just 354 officers in 90,480 caught committing offences on camera received penalty points or a fine.
