Arrow exhaust for Moto Guzzi V7 Classic, £857
Miles covered/time: 500/one month
What’s good: They look a darn site better than the originals – the titanium finish is superb, the quality is top notch, and their simple styling matches the bike.
What’s not: They’re so quiet. Having lived with Ducatis for the last few years I’ve become accustomed to the ear-bleeding experience of fitting aftermarket cans and then frantically stuffing in the baffles before I’m executed by the neighbours.
These Arrow exhausts offer a rather different experience. For a start, they’re a full system so need to be fitted by a dealer (or someone with fuel injection adjustment skills).
And for a finish they’re almost silent. Well, not quite silent, but certainly no louder than the standard pipes. And there are no baffles to remove. I like them, but for £857 I was expecting the V7 to gain a bit of a bark.
