Akrapovic have launched a new Evolution Line titanium exhaust system for the Ducati Panigale 1199.

The firm's owner, Igor Akrapovic, claimed at the recent EICMA show in Milan that the new system adds a whopping 15bhp to the superbike's power output.

The exhaust system is hand-made, from titanium alloy that's claimed to be "more durable, and with greater heat-resistance"

Weighing a claimed 4kg less than the stock Ducati system, there's a huge weight saving, too, while  the firm also promises a very big boost in midrange torque.

The new system retains the standard bodywork and lambda sensors, and is expected to be on sale in the UK by the end of March 2013, costing somewhere in the region of £2500.
